Use of PDF in websites is a big crime. Readers have to wait for the a special reader to start before they can see its content. Downloading also takes a longer time because PDF files tend to be stuffed with more fluff than
plain web pages. Most readers find it hard to return to the website once they have opened a file in PDF format. PDF files, unlike websites, do not have standard navigation bars to operate. Also, these files' texts fit the printed page and not the computer screen. The layout is often optimized for a sheet of paper; unfortunately it rarely matches the size of the user's browser window. Therefore, goodbye smooth scrolling and hello to tiny fonts.
